Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026

These terms cover your use of myxconnector.com (also reached at myelonsdistance.com), including the free “What's my Elon distance?” tool and the paid “Path to anyone” tool. “We” means the operator of myxconnector.com. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Not affiliated with X or Elon Musk

This is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. or Elon Musk. “X” is a trademark of X Corp., and Elon Musk's name is used only to describe what the free tool measures.

The service

• What's my Elon distance? is free and needs no account. You enter an X handle and we work out how many follows separate that account from Elon Musk, using public follow data.
• Path to anyone looks for people with a strong public tie to both you and someone you want to meet, scores those ties from public signals (follows, replies, mentions and quote posts) and drafts an intro request for you to send yourself.

We never post, send messages or contact anyone on your behalf.

Your account

Path to anyone requires Sign in with X. You must be at least 18 to sign in or buy anything, and you may only sign in with an X account you control. Protected X accounts can't sign in or be searched as targets, because their network isn't public. You're responsible for activity under your session, so sign out on shared devices.

Acceptable use

Intro kits are meant for one considered, personal request at a time. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, dox or intimidate anyone, or contact someone who has asked you not to;
• send spam or bulk, automated or unsolicited messages, or break X's rules, terms or automation policies;
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are or why you're asking;
• scrape the site, get around rate limits or fair-use limits, or interfere with the service or its security;
• resell the service or its results, or use them to build a competing database;
• break any law, including anti-spam and privacy laws.

Results and intro kits

Results come from public X data, read through a third-party provider and limited by scan caps, so they can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A tie score is an estimate from public signals, not proof that two people know each other or that anyone will help you.

Intro kits are drafted by Anthropic's Claude AI from public profile details, your reason and the public interaction signals we found. Drafts can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Read and edit every draft before you send it: you are responsible for what you send and to whom.

Prices and payments

Prices are in US dollars:

• Single target: $4, one-time. Unlocks the routes and intro kits for one target. They stay in your account until you delete it.
• Pro: $29 a month. 20 targets a month, CSV upload of target lists, saved lists and status tracking. Monthly targets reset at each renewal and don't roll over.
• Unlimited: $499 a month. Unlimited targets under a fair-use limit (currently 100 unlocks per 24 hours), plus everything in Pro.

A limited number of free previews each day show how many warm routes exist before you pay. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and collects your email address and payment details at checkout. Its terms also apply to your purchase. We never see your card details.

When you aren't charged

• If a search finds no warm route, there is nothing to unlock and nothing to pay.
• Protected targets are blocked before any search or charge.
• Failed searches are never charged.
• A CSV upload reserves one credit per target and returns it if the search fails or finds no warm route.

Beyond these cases, purchases and subscription months already started aren't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us.

Renewal and cancellation

Pro and Unlimited renew automatically every month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through Dodo Payments or by emailing us; cancelling stops future renewals. If a renewal payment fails, paid features may pause until it succeeds. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately: you won't be charged again and paid features end at once. If the subscription can't be cancelled, nothing is deleted and you can try again or email us.

We may change prices. A new price applies to new purchases straight away, and to an existing subscription only from a renewal after we've given notice.

Your content and ours

You keep your rights in what you type, such as the reason you give for an intro, and let us store and process it to run the service. Every Elon distance lookup appears in the list of the last 10 searches on the front page, and pressing Share on a result makes it public at a shareable link. The site, its design and its code belong to us.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any intro will happen. We aren't responsible for services run by others, such as X or Dodo Payments. We may change, limit or discontinue features at any time; if we discontinue a paid plan, we'll stop its renewals.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. Delete account on the Account page removes your data and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, show a notice on the site before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
